Fun at one of the Sunset Beach pools...

Hmmm... I wonder if my dad relaxed on this trip? :)

There was a lot of wildlife on the beautiful grounds of Sunset Beach, including swans, flamingos, parrots, peacocks, and more. They were beautiful!

Eating dinner together outside at a restaurant at Sunset Beach called The Bistro. Quite a view, isn't it?

More fun at the pool! This day we went to another sister resort called Rose (with an accent mark over the e in Rose!) and spent time at their pool and beach. Notice the pink/rose colored towels and pool chairs in the pictures that go along with the name of the resort. It's interesting to notice all of the little details at the resorts that go into the complete vacation experience.

Another nice dinner outside by the beach. This restaurant is called Mare Nostrum at the Rose resort. We also had a fabulous Sunday brunch here - it was huge and everything was laid out so beautifully, very memorable.

One day my dad, Kristi and I all went out on a jet ski in the Sea of Cortez. Kristi and I had been on jet skis in the ocean before and knew how fun it was, but my dad had never been on one before - he was in for a treat! We all had a great time, and I think my dad really enjoyed the experience and said he would definitely love to go again sometime. While we were doing this, Matt rented a kayak for an hour and explored the area. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of that, but I know he had a great time.

While we were having fun with our water activities, my mom stayed back at the resort and played with Mckenna and fed her. Later on we came back from our beach and water fun to join them and relax.

This picture is so funny! Mckenna had just woken up from her nap, and Matt and Kristi got her up and took this close up of her with the palm tree at her side... I think Mckenna's bigger than the tree! She does not look amused, but we were! :)

A family picture at beautiful Rose.

That evening we went on a dinner cruise and enjoyed the beautiful weather and sunset, as well as the yummy Mexican food and drinks while sitting outside. We again got to see the picturesque El Arco - seeing it never gets old!

Check out Mckenna hamming it up with the others on the boat. Miss Social!

After the cruise, the sun was down and there was a bit of a wind. I wrapped my light sweater around Mckenna while walking through the marina to get a taxi back to our villa. She is such a sweetie, what a good girl.

Our last evening in Cabo, and time for a bath for the beach babe. Why is bathtime so much fun? :)

Our last dinner in our villa. It was really nice to have a full kitchen where we stayed so that we could have some food and meals there, not to mention that it was very kid friendly to have all of the comforts of home. Mckenna did great on the trip, and we were so happy for that.

A couple more pictures of the beautiful view from our villa. A description that I read online says that an infinity pool "is a swimming pool which produces a visual effect of water extending to the horizon, vanishing, or extending to "infinity". I'd say that describes this pool perfectly!

Our trip to Cabo was wonderful - so much fun! We got to spend quality time with our families, relax, enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery, and make memories that will last a lifetime. We can't wait to go back in 2012 for our 10th anniversary!
